MISSIONS
RiverStone is a missions church, not just
a church that "does" missions!
Mission Statement:
In imitating Christ’s compassion for the weary and
lost, and prayerfully seeking wisdom and discernment from
the Lord, it is the mission of the RiverStone Outreach Team to equip and strengthen the Lord’s
harvest laborers with Godly counsel, financial support,
and encouragement in order to be effective transformers
of our city, country, and world.
Highlights:
• At the start of RiverStone (formerly Wesleyan Fellowship) in 1999, we
supported 3 missionaries. Today RiverStone supports
21 missionaries.
• In 1999, 10% of every person’s tithe was
designated to missions. Today, 15% is designated to missions.
• Since the inception of RiverStone, over
1 million dollars has been designated to missions.
• RiverStone has sent an average of 7 short-term
mission trips each year. This year RiverStone
is sending 14 teams.
• 3 Families and 3 individuals from RiverStone
have been called into the mission field.
